Platte County Republican Central Committee

Platte County Commissioner Debate
Dusenbery and Jones vie for Platte Country Commissioner office,
And the candidates agree to a July 3rd debate!

KANSAS CITY:

The Platte County Pachyderm Club, which has established the debate format, is hosting this one-time event. Each candidate has an opportunity for an opening statement prior to answering questions. Residents and club members in attendance may submit their written questions, which will be read by a moderator. Then, each candidate, Dusenbery and Jones, will be given a brief time period for their
response.
The Republican Pachyderm Club meeting, July 3rd brings Platte County’s two Republican candidates vying the open County Commissioner seat to debate Platte County issues. Those in attendance will be able to write pointed questions for Dusenbery and Jones. Also, before the debate, folks will have the opportunity to meet and chat with both. (Plus, personally meet Missouri’s gubernatorial candidates, because both Holshuf and Steelman have been invited for the Commissioner Debate event.)
Platte County faces issues that only county commissioners are able to resolve. With the resignation of Commissioner Tom Pryor, that elected office is vacant. Two challengers seeking this vacant office come from the Republican Party, while one comes from the Democrat party. The two Republicans, Kathy Dusenbery and Jeff Jones, meet face-to-face on Thursday, July 3rd to debate Platte County issues.
