Every county in the state has a Republican Central Committee. A man and a woman are elected for each sub district in the August Primary Election for a two-year term. Platte County has 11 sub districts. The job of each committee person is to educate, energize and activate the voters in their sub district. We had a great response to our Reagan Ranch Day event and wanted to thank everyone who came out. We also wanted to give a very special thank you to our guest speakers and to all who contributed their time, money, blood, sweat and tears. You really made this event a rousing success. We couldn't have done it without you.

If you would like to view all of the event photos, you can find them here.

YouCut

“YouCut – a first-of-its-kind project – is designed to defeat the permissive culture of runaway spending in Congress. It allows you to vote, both online and on your cell phone, on spending cuts that you want to see the House enact. Each week, we will take the winning item and offer it to the full House for an up-or-down vote, so that you can see where your representative stands on your priorities. Vote on this page today for your priorities and together we can begin to change Washington’s culture of spending into a culture of savings.”

Consent of the Governed Rally

January 5th, 2011 was a momentous day.

What may very well prove to be the most liberty-minded General Assembly in generations began a legislative session we hope will go down in history.

On that day, hundreds of average citizens gathered to welcome legislators to The People’s Capitol and let them know that The People will be very involved in the legislative process. The message was, “We’re from The People, and we’re here to help!”

With the inauguration of a new set of legislators the people are promising a new set of expectations and new level of accountability. The speakers at the event did a great job laying a foundation for the next session.

until Election Day 2012!!!

We at the Platte County Republican Central Committee would like to thank all of our supporters, volunteers and Century Club members for all of your help in sweeping the elections in Platte County for the Republican candidates.  We now ask for your assistance again as we turn our focus to the 2012 Elections.

The 2010 Elections were just the start of our efforts to turn our community, state and national governments back over to the People.  With the Elections of 2012 two years away, we recognize it’s going to be a long, hard fight to keep this movement going.  Therefore, we need your help, both financially and in your time.

If you wish to contribute financially, you can do so by clicking the “Donate” button to the right.  And to volunteer your time, please click the “Volunteer” button.

Again…thank you to all who helped to get this process started.  And to those interested in helping us continue the movement, your work and dedication will be greatly appreciated.  Rest assured…we have only just begun to fight.
