Platte County Federated Republican Women (PCFRW) was chartered in 1950. We have over 50 members and associates and are affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Women, with over 170,000 members throughout the U.S. The Federation of Republican Women is open to any woman who is a Republican.
“The purpose of the Platte County Federated Republican Women shall be to foster and encourage loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principals and candidates in all elections, to promote and inform the public through political education and activity, and to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.”
What We Do:
- PCFRW meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at the Platte Woods United Methodist Church, 7310 Northwest Prairie View Road Kansas City, MO 64151. (No meetings in July or December and a picnic in June at a location TBD.)
- We engage top caliber speakers on topics of concern in Platte County, Missouri and beyond.
- We organize campaign activities and events for local, state and national candidates.
- We offer fun social events like the Summer Family Picnic at English Landing Park in Parkville.
- We sponsor community service activities to make Platte County a better place for all.
The Platte County Federated Republican Women is a member of the Missouri Federated Republican Women and the National Federated Republican Women organizations.
Joining a local club is a great way to participate in the political process at the grassroots level and to network with other women in your community.

All across the great state of Missouri, members “Make a Difference” every day. Some in small ways, some huge, but their passion for God, Country and the Republican Party keeps the rest of us strong, resolute and dedicated to our mission of getting Republicans elected. They are shining examples for all of us and as we meet today to honor them, we should look in the mirror and ask – how can we be more like them? How can we give selflessly of ourselves as they have and help make America a better country?
