CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY

We hereby adopt the following “Contract with the County” as updated on January 20, 2006.

We support efficient government - not bigger government.

We believe that lower taxes spur economic growth and that tax increases should be voted on by the people.

We expect the government to operate within a balanced budget, not spending more than it takes in.

We believe in individual responsibility while helping the truly needy.

We support a judicial system that interprets laws, does not legislate from the bench and which prosecutes to the fullest extent of the law.

We support policies that strengthen the traditional family as the basic unit of society.

We support policies that increase Homeland Security, including immigration reform, and emergency management preparedness.

We support keeping the phrase “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance.
