DESCRIPTION:The Clay County MO Pachyderms are now the Northland Pachyderm!\nYes\, that’s right. At our April meeting\, members voted to change our club’s name to Northland Pachyderms\, to acknowledge that our membership has grown to include members of the former Platte County Pachyderms club. We look forward to consolidating our membership and expanding. Welcome aboard Platte County. \nThe June meeting (2nd Thursday of the month) will focus on a Legislative Wrap Up from local State Representatives.\nThe June meeting of the Northland Pachyderms will be held on Thursday\, June 8\, from 6 to 7:30 PM. Republican representatives to Jefferson City have been invited to present a legislative session wrapup. \nWE ARE MEETING IN A NEW LOCATION at the North Oak Pizza Ranch\, 4801 N Oak Trafficway\, Kansas City across from the Lowe’s. \nThe representatives and senators from Clay and Platte Counties will review and share their reflections on the recently-concluded legislative session\, with special focus on implications and impacts on Clay and Platte Counties. \nCost is free for members and $5 for nonmembers. \nThe club will be meeting at the Pizza Ranch meeting room\, 116 4801 N Oak Trafficway\, Kansas City\, MO from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
