DESCRIPTION:County Caucuses across the State of Missouri have been cancelled by the Missouri Republican Party due to the emergency situation caused by the COVID-19 Virus Pandemic and the no meetings of more than 10 persons restrictions practicing social distancing to “slow the curve” of number of infected victims. \nThe Platte County Republican Central Committee (PCRCC) will meet by teleconference (information below) for the purpose of electing the slate of 26 Platte County Republican Delegates and 26 Alternates to the 6th Congressional District Convention (30 May 2020 at Cameron) and the MO Republican State Convention (20 June 2020 at St Charles).  The PCRCC Chairman will submit a slate of Delegates and Alternates for both the 6th CD and State Conventions for the vote of the Central Committee. Any registered voter from Platte County as of the Presidential Preference Primary (10 March 2020) wanting to be considered for a delegate or alternate slot on the Chairman’s Slate should send their name\, address\, phone number and email address to Chairman@PlatteRepublicans.org not later than Thursday 2 April 2020. \nAny alternate slate of 26 delegates and 26 alternates from the public may be submitted to the PCRCC to be voted on during the teleconference but must be submitted by a Committeeman or Committeewoman from the PCRCC. Only members of the Central Committee will be allowed to vote during the teleconference. \nSubmission of changes to the Republican Platform may be sent directly to the MRP for consideration by the Platform Committee to be voted on during the State Convention. SUMMARY:34th Senate District Reorganization Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The 34th Republican Senate District Committee will reorganize on Saturday 5 Sep 2020 at 10 AM at Big Rig Restaurant (Farris’ Truck Stop)\, Interstate 29 and HWY DD in Faucett MO.  The voting members of the 34th Senate District are the Chairs and Vice Chairs of Buchanan and Platte County Republican Central Committees\, and the 9th\, 10th\, 11th\, 12th\, 13th\, and 14th Legislative District Republican Committees.  The purpose of the Reorganization meeting is to elect a Chair\, Vice Chair\, Treasurer and Secretary of the 34th Senate District.  The Chair and Vice Chair must be voting members of the committee\, but Treasurer and Secretary need only be registered voters within the 34th Senate District (Platte & Buchanan Counties). Voting members of the 34th Senate District are also voting members of the 6th Congressional District Committee that will meet the following week (time and place to be determined) to reorganize the Congressional District Committee. \nNormally the Senate District would meet again following the November General Election to elect a Committeeman and Committeewoman to represent the 34th District on the Missouri Republican State Committee (MRSC)\, but a change in State statute now allows the State Committee member elections to occur at the Senate District Reorganization meeting.  The MRSC reorganizes after the General Election\, usually in January but not later than the MO State Lincoln Days celebration in February of the year following the General Election.
