SUMMARY:Special Meeting 34th Senate District Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:A special meeting of the 34th Senate District Committee to be called IF a vote of the committee is needed in order to get the MO GOP to refuse the filing fee of a Democrat elected County office holder attempting to run as a Republican in the State Senate race for the 34th District.  Since the filing fee does not go to the Senate District committee\, but to the State Party\, it may be that only the State Party can refuse the filing fee for State races.  I am setting a time of 10 a.m. on Saturday\, 7 April 2018 at the restaurant at Farris’ Truck Stop in Faucett MO as the meeting time and place.  Hopefully the situation will be resolved by then and we will not need to meet for an official vote of the committee to ask the State Party to refuse the filing fee. \nJim Rooney\, Chairman 34th Senate District Republican Committee
